Natural natural childbirth school have been developed by Sharon Mayo, C.D.(DONA) based on the teachings of Grantly Dick-Read, M.D. (Childbirth Without Fear, 1995, Harper Paperbacks) in addition to Jean Sutton and Pauline Scott (Optimal Fetal Positioning, 1995, Birth Concepts) and lifetime of experential knowledge attained by over 25 years of birth attendance.
